Under Pressure: What is an Ulcer?

What is an ulcer? Answered at a high school level…I think…8)

[[Quick side note]] If your body gets to this point you might want to figure out what is causing the injury to your body that makes your body want to get rid of it at any cost, even if it means opening a new outdoor on your face or your forearm.

A body creates an ulcer just as it creates a boil, fever blister(cold sore), or pustule(pimple). The body creates these conditions as outlets for an extraordinary load of cellular debris. As long as the body cannot eliminate through its normal channels like the lymphatic system, it will utilize vicarious outlets, i.e., outlets other than normal.

An ulcer is created in two ways. First, a lesion can be created by the body through autolysis of its tissues. The body causes the self-digestion of a hole to the surface in the case of a boil or pimple. It is the body that forces toxic materials into the hole it has created to the surface. This is accomplished through lysosomes.

A lysosome is a subcellular organelle(tiny organ) that contains digestive enzymes. They are found in nearly all types of cells with a clearly defined nucleus. They are responsible for the digestion of macromolecules, they break down excess or worn-out old cell parts, and microorganisms.

Lysosomes are involved with various cell processes. If the cell is damaged beyond repair, lysosomes can help it to self-destruct in a process called programmed cell death, or apoptosis.

It is our body by means of lysosomes and inflammation that create the perfect environment and conditions necessary to mobilize the pus and debris near the surface in the form of a boil until drainage or expulsion occurs.

Once again because it deserves repeating. If your body gets to this point you might want to figure out what is causing the injury to your body that makes your body want to get rid of it at all costs. Even if it means opening a new outdoor on your face or your forearm.
